Some more about our attributes profile?

We were fortunate to be trained in the attributes profiling by Jay Niblick of Innermetrix. This is what Jay has to say about axiology.

"What is axiology? This is the science that Abraham Maslow used as the basis for his Hierarchy of Needs. Dr. Timothy Leary, of 1960's Harvard fame, performed research with it. Axiology was measuring Emotional Quotient before Dr. Goleman ever graduated high school. Eventually, Dr. Hartman was even nominated for the Nobel Prize for his work in creating a formal science of axiology.

Dr. Hartman, a professor at Yale, MIT, U.T., and The University of Mexico, created this extraordinary profile to help him understand the thinking patterns that people use to make decisions each and every day. His 30 years of research have showed that people can take specific perspectives when they make decisions and the profile he created to measure these preferences is at the root of the ITP. This represents a scientifically proven way to quantitatively measure many of the soft skills previously deemed immeasurable. Our thinking preferences dictate how we perceive, and our perceptions control how we react or behave. By understanding how we perceive the world around us, we are able to see the underlying drivers behind our actions."
